rafa has said (on the liverpool website) that aquilani isn't match fit so he most likely wont be starting against birmigham.
FFS when is he going to be match fit?! Surely the only way for him to get match fit is to play! I would like to see him get 60 mins then bring him off. I would prefer that to him coming on for the last 15 mins. Rating :

Two examples to think of : Voronin - any game. (Not 'fit' for any match) - sorry lad Michael Owen (who?) - 6th May '97 We were desperate then - he was 17 - he was good - match fit. |

I'd like to see him come on for a quarter of the game at the end regardless of the result. SG's spot seems custom made for him with what i've seen so far. |

I hope he plays tonight.. Can Rafa afford not to play him?
He should rip Birmingham to shreds.. then again depends how match fit he is? He'll be match rusty although played a the other day... |

He played but for just 10 mins or so.. as if he's gonna make any impact in that time? He should've been playing from the start instead of Lucas.. and he'll have to play from the start now cos Benayoun is injured now.. Whats the point in having a £20m player sat on his arse game after game? He's gonna get sick of it and put in a transfer request before long..
