Seems highly suspicious to me Kathy. If Justine had been 'banned' like the poster says then how come it did get reported by the media like every other player has been? I think they are obviously anti-Justine and trying to stir up trouble on the back of Agassi's drugs bombshell.

Spot on Jude. If a player is banned for taking drugs then WADA and the WTA make it public. Had they done so in the case of the World number one, as she was at the time, then the press would have been all over it. Also, the ban would have been for 2 years, yet Henin is coming back after only 19 months.

I have been hearing that story ever since Henin retired prematurely! I also heard that they covered it uo just like Agassi who took Meth. Meth just gives u sexual urges really anyways. As for Henin, I DO NOT believe that she too perfformance enhancement drugs at all, no way! Serena did mention that she couldn't even travel as much as she wanted during the off-season cos the drug testers just show up at her house anytime they feel like even after been tested after every match!
Henin is as clean as a whistle otherwise show me the receipts!

The only thing that I can think of that might be behind this nonsense is that people are getting Henin and Hingis mixed up.

For me, the proof of someone being guilty or innocent of these allegations by the wtitten press is usually.................Did the person (Hingis) sue the papers.................If not, then they are probably letting it blow over and keeping their fingers crossed it does not officially get out.

Well that applies niether to Hingis nor Henin Roy. Hingis broke the news of her positive drugs test herself. She has always insisted that she has never taken cocaine. This may well be the case since the test only found trace ammounts of it, less than in Gasquet's case apparently. It might well have been another case of accidental contamination.

Henin has never, to the best of my knowledge, been accused by the media of taking drugs. This comes purely from idiots on internet forums who have nothing to back up their ridiculous claims. It is pure nonsense.

Leo Clijsters also publicly accused Justine of being on steroids but later retracted his comments hastily, strangely enough it was at a period when Kim was constantly losing to Justine!

The information came from your hero Kim Clijster's father, and he had information, of course, Kim never got along with Juicine aka Justine. Who would quit a sport, right after winning a gran slam, and the #1 ranking, then ask for your name to be removed from the ranking file, if you weren't guilty of something. JUICINE aka Justine was always a cheater. I never forget how she cheated Serena in the FO in 2003, when she raised her hand just before was ready to served, then denied she ever did, when clearly it was shown on video. And the incident with MOMO in the AO, after she was getting her arrse whopped by MOMO, she quit, claiming she had a tummy ache. She just wouldn't give MOMO the opportunity of winning her match against her. Now that she is coming back to the game of tennis, the WADA is watching her arrrse. Take away Justines millions of dollars and huge achievements in the tennis world and she has had a miserable life. Death of her mother, death of her sister, estrangement from her father, brothers and sister for many years, unpleasant rumours of sexual abuse in her childhood, divorce at a young age. Not the best, is it? Justine got to a point in May 2008 when she was royally cheesed off with tennis and decided that was it she had had enough and could never see herself returning to the game. She asked for her immediate removal from the world rankings to show people how serious she was about retirement and that she never wanted to come back as her desire had completely gone. However, as we all now know, Justine did do an about turn and changed her mind. She has been called (amongst other things) a hypocrite for coming back...how many people on here can honestly say they have never made a decision they have come to regret? I know I have. At least she has had the balls to admit she was too hasty and wants to come back rather than live a life feeling bitter and full of regret. And as for the comment about the infamous RG incident, its old news now Delores and I certainly don't think Serena lies awake at night thinking about it. Maybe Justine was wrong, maybe she didn't apologise but she was very young and very hungry for her first grand slam title. As much as I like Serena, the only reason she issued an apology to the linejudge at the US Open was because she was basically forced to, not because she wanted to, so don't kid yourself for one second that she would of apologised otherwise. Serena is actually very much like Justine, very focused when she wants something, very mentally strong and neither suffer fools gladly. They are both as hard as nails in my opinion. You are clearly a Justine hater and the very fact that you state Kims dad as having 'information' speaks volumes. How would Leo Clijsters, father of one of Justines biggest rivals know whether Justine was taking steroids? If you knew about the facts of this story, then you would know it was because he could not believe how much she had grown muscle-wise and automatically assumed it was steroids. He then apologised. Thanks Kathy, had to let off some steam with that one!! Sick of hearing about steroid allegations just because she happened to have a muscular physique. If that was the case then the whole tour must be on steroids, they are all muscular to a certain extent and the most muscular of all has to be Serena...and I do not think for one second she takes steroids! Jealousy is a horrible thing I suppose!
