Re: Roger is fading away smoothly     17-Nov-09 07:56 PM
That´s a very detailed and objective msg. I strongly agree with all u wrote. U truly understand the sport and are not biased. It´s very normal that as we grow older our priorities in life change. This is also the case in sports. I believe RF´s priorities will greatly change next year esp with the twins around, wc is very natural/understandable. He´ll be going 4 the big tournaments esp the GS. The guy will definitely want to win a few more tournaments esp GS b4 leaving the sport for "most important things". He´s built a very good career in tennis and will retire with great satisfaction. He has an outstanding record in the sport and if he resigns 2day, he´ll be at ease with himself & his fans bc his dreams have been HUGELY achieved and there´s nothing left 2 be proven. With the way tennis is 2day, i strongly wonder if it´ll be possible to beat his OUTSTANDING RECORD.The world hails him for everything he´s achieved. What makes me most happy is the fact that many young players (excluding a few rude ones like ......) are hoping to be like him someday. For now, he´s the tennis maestro and the greatest ever that´s existed in the sport. This is very undisputable....... documentation beats conversation/assumption lol. God bless the tennis king, RF.
