You’ve probably got all of the info you need now, but here is some more any way.

I think Kathy and Jude have given you excellent advice. The only thing I’d add is that if you write to Eurosport, send it by recorded delivery and keep your receipt from the Post Office. Some companies lacking scruples could deny receiving your letter, this way they can’t, and it shows them you are serious. It’s a plus if you can quote which section of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 they have breached - failing that, just mention the Act. Oh, attach a copy of your cancellation email. Also, as Kathy stated, it’s important to give them a deadline and let them know what the consequences will be if they don’t respond to your satisfaction, e.g. reporting them to Trading Standards. That should shake them up a bit. You could call Trading Standards in case we’ve missed anything out - they are very helpful.

Also, when a similar thing happened to me, I had a similar response from my bank as Jude had. At this point I was annoyed by the fact that some dishonest stranger had more power over my account than me so I asked to cancel my card completely. Now here’s the interesting bit. The bank offered to ensure they gave me a refund as long as I could prove cancellation, and, this is the good bit, they would recoup the money from THEM, which meant the bank would affectively fight the case on my behalf. Sometime it pays to get a bit humpty.
